Dr. L has been invited join the Scientific Committee of the British Society for Strain Measurement (BSSM) 11th International Conference on Advances in Experimental Mechanics, to be held at the University of Exeter, Exeter, UK, from 5th to 7th September 2016.

DMML's Steve just received The George Hill, Jr. Endowed Fellowship in MEM at Drexel, and Logan was invited to participate in the Society of Experimental Mechanic's (SEM) Student Paper Competition this June AND a DOD SMART Scholarship- well done- Go team DMML!

DMML hosts the 1st US-based and 4th ever DIC Intensive Workshop at Drexel in collaboration with Prof. Fabrice Pierron (USouthampton), Prof. Pascal Lava (KU Leuven), and Dr. Phillip Reu (Sandia National Lab) to help teach metrology of using digital image correlation (DIC).   It was an honor to partner with these experts & a good time to boot!  http://diccourse.matchid.org
